A pleasant area of substantial Victorian housing in tree lined roads, Bedford Park was one of the earliest examples of Garden Suburb architecture.

Original Norman Shaw design, Listed Grade II. The English Heritage listing states "Circa 1878. By R N Shaw to the second semi-detached design, but No 23 has been altered. Yellow and red brick with tiled roofs. Two storeys and attics. Flat door hoods. Large canted bays with sash windows. Roof with plain dormer and central brick stack. Wooden fence to No 25. "
