Currently closed and due to be demolished, but to be replaced by a modern pool. The chimney is Listed Grade II so will presumably survive as a feature of the redevelopment.

Acton swimming baths chimney
A fine example of terracotta decorative work from around 1910, it will hopefully survive the demolition of the baths that it served. Listed Grade II.

Detail of the decorative terracotta top section. The terracotta has probably suffered from the temperature variation of being used as a chimney, resulting in the need for reinforcement with metal bands. Listed Grade II.

Acton Town Hall
The south front on Salisbury Street. This is the original 1912 building, which is planned for conversion to a hotel. The right-hand section with the Venetian window was the council chamber. Listed Grade II.
