Ferguson Drive, Westcott Park, Acton
The tower under construction, by a crane, is mainly student residence for Imperial College. It is on the site of the Perfume Factory, Wales Farm Road. The smaller tower to the left is Holbrook House student residence, seen earlier in construction as Image

Railway sidings, North Acton
The railway wagons in the photo are on a line branching off the main line from the west to Paddington. They can go from here to Old Oak sidings, Harlesden, or Willesden - there is a network of railways and sidings north and east of here. View north-west from footbridge joining Perry Avenue to Brunel Road, over the North London line. Beyond the railway are light industry of Jenner Avenue, then BBC Rehearsal Studios and new flats being built by North Acton tube station.

Class 416, 6321 approaches Acton Wells Junction on a Richmond to north Woolwich service. The 416, 2-EPB, units replaced the class 501s on the North London Line before being superseded themselves with the class 313 units.
