The bar/restaurant "The Foundry" of this student residence is on the left - open to the public. A temporary bus stop for the 266 bus is beside it. The small open square has a raised plinth with coloured seating and a view to the adjacent cemetery. On the right is an accommodation block.

Shisha lounge of Damascino, Woodward Hall North Acton
The ground floor area to the left is a restaurant - but not usually busy. The single storey addition is a shisha lounge and is busy in the evenings with customers smoking hookahs.

Memorials in Acton Cemetery
Most of the memorials in this cemetery are flat stones or crosses, but there are a few more elaborate memorials like these. In the background are new flats being built on Victoria Road, by North Acton tube station.

Post, parcel and print centre in student residence
There is accommodation for 1400 students near North Acton tube station. This shop in the Imperial College Woodward Hall is "Mail Boxes Etc" with services aimed at students. It provides a permanent mailing address for students who may move around, holds or sends parcels, and also provides printing and copying services.
