31 storey student residence by London Overground, Acton
The tower block under construction, with lower adjacent buildings, will provide 736 student bed spaces. They are in the Perfume Factory area, formerly Elizabeth Arden. The railway straight ahead is London Overground from Richmond to Willesden Junction and on to Euston and Hampstead. The railway seen to the left of it, and going under it, is the main line from Reading to Paddington. View from public footpath over footbridge.

Coal for Power
A brace of class 73 Electro-Diesels heads a train of merry-go-round hoppers through Acton on the line to Richmond. I'm not sure which power station they were headed for. The track they are crossing is the Paddington mainline to Reading.
