Leamington Park Community Centre, North Acton
This housing estate is on the site of Leamington Park Hospital, which was a geriatric hospital associated with the central Middlesex.

Milk at Acton
Class 25, 25175, descends from Acton Wells Junction towards the Great Western mainline with a train of 6 wheeled milk tankers returning empty to the West Country. This is a type of traffic that is no longer handled by the railways - now exclusively carried by road tankers. Behind the train on the left is part of Leamington Park Hospital. The hospital opened in 1905 as Acton Isolation Hospital and closed in 1983. It was replaced by a housing estate.

Railway sidings, North Acton
The railway wagons in the photo are on a line branching off the main line from the west to Paddington. They can go from here to Old Oak sidings, Harlesden, or Willesden - there is a network of railways and sidings north and east of here. View north-west from footbridge joining Perry Avenue to Brunel Road, over the North London line. Beyond the railway are light industry of Jenner Avenue, then BBC Rehearsal Studios and new flats being built by North Acton tube station.
