Crane for A40 Bridge works
Two bridges carrying the A40 Western Avenue over railway lines are being replaced. This 1000 ton telescopic crane is being used to lift bridge beams into place.

North London line, "London Overground", at North Acton
The Mayor of London has announced that this line from Richmond to North London and round to East London will become "London Overground", and will be linked to the East London line on to Croydon. Photo from Western Avenue bridge, which is being rebuilt to strengthen it. The next station this way is Acton Central.
