NHS priority postbox, Horn Lane, Acton
The postbox is near the post office at 214 Horn Lane. The "NHS priority postbox" sign indicates that coronavirus test samples can be posted for special collection. The "Priority postbox Saturday and Sunday" indicates collection on those days. A Royal Mail website can be searched by postcode to find nearby post boxes, and show the collection times. Not all priority postboxes have week-end collections. The postbox has a GR cypher for George V, and has wording "Post Office" near the bottom.

Lockdown 2, vet practice closed
These veterinary practice premises do not allow customers to enter during coronavirus lockdown but do provide prescription and video consultation online. From the website of Goddard Veterinary Group it appears that their other sites with larger premises do provide for socially-distanced entry.

Lockdown 2, post office queue socially distanced
In the second coronavirus lockdown, as in the first and throughout the summer, only a couple of people can be inside the post office, others have to queue on the pavement outside, and keep two metres apart. Inside the post office masks must be worn.
Also in the photo, a motorcycle shop, opened recently; the site has been a pound shop, and a beauty parlour, within the last few years. The green portable cabins are the office etc for building the new Acton Main Line Station for Crossrail.

Pound Plus shop on Horn Lane
There has been a rapid turnover of occupants of shops around here, though there are also long established tenants. We hope this one will manage to survive as it is a convenient type of shop to have within walking distance of home. The building is Acton House, a block of flats.
