Acton Manhattan view from Hammersmith tower block
The tallest tower on the left is One West Point, 54 storeys, almost 600 feet high. There are several towers around North Acton tube station and Acton Main Line Station, much of the housing between Hammersmith and Acton is of 2-storey houses. Carphone Warehouse head office North Acton, night view
See Image for daytime view. A planning application was granted in 2016 to replace this large 2 storey building on 4.5 acres by tower blocks of 764 apartments but Imperial College then bought the whole site to provide student accommodation and investment growth. Carphone Warehouse and Dixons have announced that they will move their head office further within Park Royal.
