Acton Central Station
The entrance and ticket hall. Machines provide the means to purchase tickets for travel when the ticket office is unstaffed. An electronic display advises of passenger train services due to call at the station and there is also a display advising of the current service on London Underground lines.

"Pan up", London Overground at Acton Central
As shown also in Image train drivers have to switch at this station from drawing power from a third rail to drawing power via a pantograph from overhead power lines. This photo shows the "Pan up" sign (hidden text above reads "378 units"). The pantograph is visible on top of the train. See Image for a photo of a similar 378 unit with pantograph down at Richmond Station, where it shares 3rd rail operation with London Underground.
