Swan Inn and corner shop, Bayswater Road, London W2
A sign outside asserts that the Swan is the last surviving remnant of the Flora Tea Gardens and Skittle Alley, that there is documentary evidence of its existence by 1721 and that it is reputed to be older, having reputedly survived final drinks to criminals bound for hanging at Tyburn during the late 17th century (the highwayman Claude Duvall is one who is stated to have had a last drink here during that period).
