Marylebone / Bayswater. The name of this and several nearby locations derives from the former estate of Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Duke of Connaught, (1776 - 1834), Great Grandson of George II. Note also the well known luxury hotel of the same name at Carlos Place, Mayfair.

The Duke of Kendal, Connaught Street / Kendal Street, W2
Named after Charles Stuart, the only Duke of Kendal and son of King James 2nd and Anne Hyde, he was born in 1666 and died the next year. There is, however, a local connection as the park is named after his grandfather Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon. See http://www.londontown.com/LondonInformation/Bars_and_Clubs/The_Duke_of_Kendall/4031/ and http://wapedia.mobi/en/Charles_Stuart,_Duke_of_Kendal.
