Hidden Enclave
St George's Fields: between Connaught Street and Bayswater Road, on the Hyde Park Estate: once the cemetery of St George's, Hanover Square, and an Archery Ground, the area was sold by the Church for private development with provision for 5 low-rise units making up 300 single apartments, whilst retaining the wooded surrounds and enclosing walls. Now falls within the Bayswater conservation zone. There are several gated entrances. It is open to the public one day a year.
