Kensington (Olympia) railway station
Kensington (Olympia) station was originally opened in 1844 by the West London Railway but closed shortly afterwards, reopening in 1862. The station was bombed during World War II and subsequently closed, reopening in 1946. With around 0.04 million passenger journeys recorded in 2020, Kensington (Olympia) is the 267th busiest station on the entire Underground network.

Kensington Olympia Station
Looking north, with a Class 377 Southern Railway service from Milton Keynes to South Croydon just approaching. The worried-looking individual on the platform apparently intent on committing suicide did not in fact do so, a fact for which I was heartily grateful as it would have caused severe disruption to the train service.
