Looking west along the Great Western mainline. A Heathrow Express train heads to the airport. The industrial buildings on the left are the workshops of Plasser Machinery, Parts & Services Ltd, who maintain the Plasser and Theurer rail track maintenance machines.

Access Self Storage, West Ealing
The grey storage containers behind the trackside fence are between the main Paddington railway line and the branch to Drayton Green and Greenford. The Access Self Storage building itself, on the right, is beyond the branch line (as shown in Image), on Manor Road. Behind it can be seen staggered semi-detached houses on Drayton Green; the trees opposite the houses run along the edge of the park at Drayton Green.

Up 'Cathedrals Express' approaching West Ealing
View westward, towards Reading etc.; ex-GWR Paddington - Reading and the West main line. The express left Hereford at 08.00, picked up a portion from Kidderminster at Worcester, then ran up to Paddington (arr. 11.30). Here its locomotive is 'Castle' 4-6-0 No. 7009 'Athelney Castle' (built 5/48 - post Nationalisation, withdrawn 3/63). On the right is '5700' class 0-6-0PT No. 8731 on a trip goods from the sidings, beyond which the line to Greenford diverges.
