St Peter's Church, Notting Hill
The church is in Kensington Park Road; view from Stanley Gardens. "St Peter’s was designed by the architect, Thomas Allom, as an integral part of his design for Kensington Park Gardens, Stanley crescent and Stanley Gardens. His Ladbroke Estate housing, designed in 1852-3, and St Peter’s Church are Thomas Allom’s principal architectural work." It was built 1855-1857 in classical style. Information was from parish website in 2008; their website in 2020 is www.stpetersnottinghill.org.uk .

St Peter's Notting Hill: apse
The apse (curved east end) of the church includes mosaics of the Last Supper and several angels. The Bible quotation above the arch ("thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God") is attributed to St Peter, the patron saint of the church.
