Former post office, Notting Hill
In smart Westbourne Grove stands this unloved structure, refronted in about 1910 to the designs of architect John Rutherford of the Office of Works. The post office closed to the dismay of local residents in late 2004: the building is still used by the Royal Mail as a delivery and sorting office, yet clearly neglected.
