Looks like it's not just country pubs that are closing down. The rail bridge to the right carries Ladbroke Grove over the main line west out of Paddington.

Huge skeleton puppet - Notting Hill Carnival
Several of the floats had a large puppet leading them. In this one it looks as if the puppeteer is manipulating the legs with sticks in his hands, and not manipulating the arms.
