New Denham: Tiger Cubs Indian brasserie and the A4020 road

New Denham: Smith's Nurseries and the A4020 Oxford Road
Smith's Nurseries http://www.smiths-nurseries.co.uk/ is a family business established in 1931 by the grandfather of the current owner.
The A4020 used to be the A40 road to Oxford until the new dual carriageway was built bypassing Uxbridge entirely.

New Denham: A4020 Oxford Road
This was formerly the A40 through Uxbridge, linking London and Oxford.
Two corporate giants advertise their presence while a third, Texaco, is operating on the other side of the road. Here you would have thought we have two garages in direct competition with another across the street vying for the motorist's business. Esso are selling diesel at 122.9p per litre, Texaco at 124.9p per litre, yet in Watford, maybe 15 kilometres away as the crow flies, it was on sale at 117.9p per litre at Shell. Draw your own conclusions.
