These neat semi-detached houses are on the north side of Peachey Lane.

Cowley: Peachey Lane (2)
Anyone unfamiliar with the area might question the presence here on Peachey Lane of this hill and the sharp bend in the road. It is however the location where the former Great Western Railway branch line from West Drayton to Uxbridge passed under the road. The railway opened in 1856 and closed in 1962, and today virtually all trace of it has gone. Image is visible on the skyline between the trees.

River Pinn at Philpott's Farm
Philpot's Farm was a farm up until the 1970's. Now, with the name retained, it is run by Hillingdon Council as a nature reserve and park.
The Pinn is a tributary of the Colne. From its source near Harrow, it follows a southerly course, through Pinner amongst other places before joining Fray's River, part of the Colne, at Yiewsley.

Fuller's pub with accommodation, at the corner of High Road and Packet Boat Lane. Central bar, eating and drinking on three sides; garden, pool, darts, games machines, TV.
