Uxbridge, The Three Tuns
Town centre pub on High Street, opposite the station; three rooms on two levels, wooden beams, dark wood fittings, stone flags, with patio, TV & games machines. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Fuller's London Pride, Morland Old Speckled Hen, Sharp's Doom Bar. Uxbridge Underground station (3)
The station was designed by the renowned Underground station architect Charles Holden and opened in 1938. It was given Grade II listed status in 1983. This is the public entrance to the station from the High Street.
