Both carriageways are two-way, with the carriageway to the left of the image being primarily to access housing while other traffic uses the carriageway to the right.

Cherry Lane Junior and Infants School
Built in the 1940s to accommodate the children from the large council housing estate built on the site of cherry orchards, from which Cherry Lane gets its name. Little changed externally since I was a pupil some 50+ years ago!
