The Plough, Sipson Road
On Sipson Road, just north of the village of Sipson, The Plough no doubt was once in a far more rural location. The Holiday Inn can be seen behind and the M4 is close by. There are fields still nearby but some of these will disappear if ever the Third Runway at Heathrow goes ahead. Apart from the Holiday Inn looming over the back there is little to distinguish The Plough from many other country pubs.
A real survivor from before the days of Heathrow Airport, motorway junctions and all the other stuff that now defines this area.
