Church of the Holy Cross
A new church built adjacent to the existing parish church of Greenford Magna between 1939 and 1941. Designed by Sir Albert Richardson, construction of the church was overseen by the Rector, Father Donald Harris who served from 1936 to 1945. Fortunately it was decided to retain the original church - visible behind and to the right of the new building - and both are currently consecrated. The new church is designated as a multi-purpose building and can therefore be used for dance and the arts as well as worship.
