Recycling centre in Greenford
There are individual skips or containers for most types of rubbish. The notice for one for hardcore and soil is visible. Behind are skips for wood, cardboard, and garden waste, conveniently sited so cars can drive up behind them. There is a container for oil in the photo. Next to it is one for paint and similar liquids - that is what I was dumping. Others are for paper, fabrics, shoes, metals, electronics, refrigerators, batteries, printer cartridges, video tapes, plastics . . .a really big effort is going into separating and recycling in the London Borough of Ealing.
