Northolt: The White Hart
Now dominated by the large and busy roundabout named after it, The White Hart was once the focal point of the West End hamlet in Northolt, surrounded by farmland. It is however a Grade II Listed Building, and the English Heritage website describes it thus:- "Early 19th century public house, extended later 19th century. Earlier building of 2 storeys; 3 bays with single storey lean-to roofed wings; stucco. Central round-headed entrance flanked by canted 3-light bay windows below continuous slate pitched roof. Side lights to front of bays. Recessed flat headed barred sashed windows. Hipped slate roof. Rear block taller in yellow stock brick with pitched slate roof."
