The Industry (closed)

Three palm trees seem to be doing all right on this suburban street corner. The one at the far end has produced enormous bunches of fruit which can be seen just beyond the lamp post.

This is a Church of England parish church, designed by Antony Lewis, and built in 1961. It is unusual in that its long axis lies north-south.
