Footpath Snicket just off the A312
This footpath, snicket, ginnel, alley way or what have you runs along the side of the A312 to the right, close to the Lombardy Retail Park which houses a large Sainsbury's, Pizza Hut, Sports Direct and McDonald's. The path then runs into these bushes where it joins Stirling Road and Abbotswood Way whose houses can just be seen through the trees.

Pond, Minet Country Park
The Minet Country Park is newly created from a derelict area used partly as car boot sale, & for motor cycle scrambling. It is now an attractive country park. Its features include a cycle track, children's playground, lodge, & areas that make it a nature reserve appreciated by many bird species & other wild life. For a "Nature Trail" around the Minet Country Park before and after its creation, see the photographer's web pages: http://ianhday.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Honey bee on bristly ox tongue at Minet Country Park
An Internet argument about who was the "bees knees" caused me to seek out this subject. It was the only bee I saw foraging on that walk.
