Bulls Bridge Road, Southall
What a wonderful location to live, right on the canal. As you can see, the road is right on the bank complete with streetlights. I probably wouldn't recommend driving along here whilst drunk, one wrong turn and where are you going to end up?

Grand Junction Arms, Bulls Bridge Road
Pub by the canal, by the Hayes road bridge. By this point of my cold bike ride I was ready for a hot meal, but between Christmas and New Year they were not serving food - and the very cold beer would have been very welcome on a hot day, not so appropriate on a cold one.
