Spitfire outside Battle of Britain Bunker at RAF Uxbridge
The Spitfire was moved from the main entrance in 2010 after RAF Uxbridge closed. The fighter squadrons defending the South-East of England during the Battle of Britain were controlled from here.

War Memorial at former RAF Uxbridge
No. 11 Group moved to RAF Martlesham Heath on 14 April 1958 and Air Chief Marshal Sir Hugh Dowding unveiled a memorial close to the entrance to the underground bunker, commemorating its role during the Battle of Britain.
