The pathway allows access from Strand Drive. Amelia House, at right, is one of six blocks which make up Kew Riverside Park. In the background, some new apartment blocks are being constructed on a brownfield site which once housed part of Inland Revenue.

Ripe for further development? The Site of the former Inland Revenue Offices
A major government building used to stand here, but had been empty for years and was recently sold for development. It has now been demolished – but there was no sign of preparations for its new use when I took this picture. Perhaps any rebuilding has been delayed until the days of unrealistic high prices for flats return. The building to the left is the National Archives Image while the flats beyond are part of the Kew Riverside Park.
