Trumpeter's House
Exclusive apartments in the centre of Richmond. The 17th Century house is built on the site of the former Middle gate of Richmond Palace and gets its name from the statues of heralds which flanked the doorway.

The Wardrobe
Extensively reconstructed buildings within the area of the Old Palace, Richmond. The terrace is named because furniture and hangings were stored here. It faces onto a small green.

Trumpeters House, Richmond
Within the grounds of the old Richmond Palace, Trumpeters House was built between 1702 and 1704 for Richard Hill, statesman and diplomat, on the site of the old Middle Gate of the palace. It was so named after a pair of stone figures of trumpeting heralds that once stood on the Middle Gate and were reinstated on the new building.
