Brentford canal basin
Looking south as the Grand Union canal opens up into the canal basin. The dark outline on the far right is the edge of a dilapidated covered quay. The basin has been thoroughly redeveloped with the usual apartments.

JCDecaux
The company's UK head Office, located on the A4 Great West Road next to the new Brentside Executive Park - the sign for which is on the right of the photo. The building dates to 1935/6 and was designed by F.E.Simpkins. It was built as a distribution centre for Curry's and was refurbished for JCDecaux in 2006 when the modern sections to the rear of the building were added. The building is grade II listed.

Canal Mural under the Covered Dock
One of the few structures left from the canal's commercial days is an old covered dock where boats could load in the dry. Now it's a bit of a mess of rusting girders and metal sheeting, but someone has tried to brighten it up with a bit of artwork.
