Brentford Basin - overflow weir
There was clearly only a low flow of water in the River Brent, so despite there being no traffic through the locks, the water level was able to be maintained just below the overflow level. Waterfowl are keeping their feet dry!

On the nearest pontoon, Madam is furthest out, Wild Fowl inside her. The apartment blocks are part of The Island in the canal basin.
