Brentford Station
Brentford Station was opened in 1849 by the London and South Western Railway (LSWR). Between 1950 and 1980 it was named Brentford Central.
When Glaxo Smith Kline opened its global HQ nearby in 2001, the pharmaceutical giant contributed towards modernisation of the station.
Brentford is served half-hourly by South Western Railway's Waterloo to Weybridge line, with additional trains at peak time running round the Hounslow loop.
