The Bricklayers Arms building
A former public house on Ealing Road. The Brentford History web site http://www.brentfordhistory.com/2014/01/17/bricklayers-arms-former/ describes it as follows "First recorded 1853. 1960s and 70s was a jazz pub used by The Temperance Seven for rehearsals. Pub made famous as The Flying Swan in Robert Rankin’s novels. Converted to houses in 2009".

The Princess Royal, on the corner of Ealing Road (foreground) and Braemar Road (left), a stone's throw from the east corner of Griffin Park, the home ground of Brentford Football Club (one of whose floodlight gantries is visible above the pub). Griffin Park is known for being the only football ground in England with a pub at each corner.
