On the corner of Mafeking Avenue, 45 Brook Road South in Brentford was a grocery store in 1911, run by Robert Dixon who later became a dentist. The building has been badly altered and shows its retail origins.

Corner kick, Brentford v Burnley
Andy Scott takes the corner at what used to be the home stand before it moved to the smaller area opposite as this end was not covered. The consequence was the home stand was virtually always packed ever since, and was far better to have plenty of room and get wet occasionally than always be packed like sardines as you can just see ahead.
