Kew Bridge Ecovillage
Last June, eco-protesters installed themselves on the disused former Scottish Widows site at the north end of Kew Bridge, where St George have so far failed to get planning permission from Hounslow for one of their big property developments. Brentford High Street from the approach to Kew Bridge
Some people say the North Circular Road starts at Chiswick Roundabout and others here. The road sign opposite says North Circular Road which makes sense as although the road number is shared with the South Circular after the roundabout (A205) it is still north of the River Thames here.

Kew Eco-Village
Located on land earmarked for the building of luxury flats by the owners of the site, St.George. The go ahead for the development was given on 17th February 2010 and court proceedings have commenced to remove the village from the site. Wikipedia currently has details of the Eco-Village.
