Grade II Listed Building dating from about 1720, surrounded by modern new-build (List Entry Number: 1240734) https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1240734 Built as a house but now converted to offices. It was the home of the Rowe family, prosperous soap manufacturers, from 1806, trading as Thames Soap Works. The Waterman's Arms, Brentford
The Waterman's Arms on Ferry Lane has existed since 1751 but was extensively rebuilt in Edwardian times. It gets a mention in a poem by Alfred Pearce 'The fifty pubs of Brentford', written in 1948.
