Sermon's Almshouses, Isleworth
Founded by a Mrs Sermon in 1843. The site is entered from the Twickenham Road, and backs on to North Street. Everything appears well maintained, and there is a well-kept garden.

Roofscape: Sermon's Almshouses, seen from North Street
The almshouses date from 1843, and the fancy ridge-tiles (with fleur-de-lys) were typical of the period.
Seen against an evening sky (at about 7.30pm) in June.
