The Three Magpies public house.
A unique survivor of a bygone age amongst the generally grotesque modern development around London Heathrow Airport. This C18th coaching inn was in 1765 known as the 'Three Pigeons' and is the only survivor of many such coaching inns in the vicinity along the Bath Road. Under plans for the expansion of Heathrow Airport with the construction of a third runway this was due to be demolished but the plans have now been shelved.
