The Old Goat
What's in a name. This is Brouge at The Old Goat.
It's a bar specializing in Belgian food and beer ... (Brouge = Bruges, I suppose ?)
Yeah, I had to think about it too ....
Anyway, it looks nice enough, and Belgian beer is always worth a detour.
It was the Jolly Blacksmith when I lived round here.

The property by the pillar box used to be a Post Office many years ago, now a private house. The Off Licence has been there for ages but the Twickenham Veterinary Surgery used to be an antiques shop.
