The box of electrics in front looks in a state. I hope it's not important.

The Longford River north of Feltham station
The path alongside the Longford River here leads to Feltham station. The Longford River was constructed in 1638 to take water from the River Colne. This would then supplement the water supply to Hampton Court and enable the development of the water features in the park. The spire of the former St Catherine's Church near Feltham station can be seen over the trees.

Departing Feltham
A Class 450 of South West Trains (450548) departs Feltham Station with a Waterloo to Weybridge service, passing under the footbridge beside the level crossing. These units, built by Siemens, are part of their Desiro range, the external appearance of which varies considerably from country to country. The footbridge looks to be of the standard Southern concrete design although the uprights supporting the stair sections have been replaced by modern block structures. The spire of the former St.Catherine's church provides an interesting backdrop.

Bus and Barriers
The level crossing barriers rise after the passage of a train into Feltham Station. Framed between the barriers is a H25 bus for Hatton Cross in the bus station that was built in the 1990's when the railway station was rebuilt. The service is operated by Abellio and the vehicle is a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart. The lady in the bottom right of the photo amused me - having waited patiently by the barrier rather than using the footbridge, she ducked under the barrier as it was rising to hurry briskly across the railway line.

Train at Feltham
A suburban electric multiple unit leaving Feltham station in West London. The train is starting to cross over a level crossing. The railway is electrified using the third rail system. There is a gap in the third rail where the railway crosses the road.
