This is a very rare picture of the former Minimax factory's Art Deco doorway still in situ before the building was demolished.The doorway was the only part of the building saved and now stands on the corner of Faggs Rd and Staines Rd known locally as Minimax Corner

The Art Deco doorway was the only part of the building saved and can still be seen today on the corner of Faggs Road and Staines Road which was well known in the area as Minimax Corner.

Not Well Preserved
This site was formerly occupied by a factory called Minimax, who made fire extinguishers. It was demolished long ago but the splendid Art Deco main doorway was preserved on this corner plot. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be looking after it. Weeds are growing out of it and it's propped up with bits of old iron and it looks a mess, which is a shame.
