Parasol Mushrooms by the London Loop
The appropriately named Parasol Mushroom, Macrolepiota procera, is a reasonably common variety of edible fungus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrolepiota_procera These are growing beside the London Loop path as it goes beside the River Crane on the edge of Hounslow Heath.

Ex-LSW O2 class 0-4-4T at Feltham Locomotive Depot
Ex-LSW Adams class O2 No. 30179 was built 3/1890 and withdrawn 12/59. Normally employed on branch lines, notably in the Isle of Wight, this one at Feltham was used just for 'odd jobs', no doubt.

Bulleid Q1 0-6-0 at Feltham, 1947
In the Locomotive Yard at Feltham, one of the variety of locomotives was a modern (wartime) example of Bulleid's SR Q1 0-6-0s, No. C37, built 12/42: after nationalization it became the more conventional No. 30037 and survived until 10/63.

Ex-LSWR 4-8-0T hump shunter in Feltham Yard
Seen somewhere in this great Marshalling Yard (built 1922, swept away 1969), No. 30494 (built 8/21, withdrawn 12/62) is one just four Urie G16 class 4-8-0Ts designed specially for this Yard. (See also Image]).
