York House, Twickenham
A 17th century mansion currently the municipal offices of the Borough of Richmond, who took it over in 1965 from the old Borough of Twickenham who had been there since 1924. A full and fascinating history is on http://www.richmond.gov.uk/local_history_york_house.pdf with lots of stuff about previous residents including a flurry of minor European Royals, some disguised in false beards, an Earl of Lonsdale who supported the right to play the fiddle on a Sunday, and a worthy member of the Society of Extreme Victorian Names, the diarist Mounstuart Elphinstone Grant Duff.

Inside Waitrose Twickenham
The security guard gave me a funny look but he didn't say anything. I'll ask him next time and if it's OK will take some more. You don't get many of these on Streetview but some shops have been covered indoors.
