Feltham: Open space north of Uxbridge Road
The buildings on the left form part of West Thames College while the houses to the right are on Wigley Road. The last vestiges of the snow of 2 February 2009 can be seen on the ground to the left.

River Crane tunnel, SE end
This tunnel takes the River Crane underneath the Feltham railway marshalling yards site. Lovely, isn't it. One of the smaller tunnels was (at the time this picture was taken) just about passable so long as you wore good wellies and carried a decent torch. Ex-LSWR 4-8-0T hump shunter in Feltham Yard
Seen somewhere in this great Marshalling Yard (built 1922, swept away 1969), No. 30494 (built 8/21, withdrawn 12/62) is one just four Urie G16 class 4-8-0Ts designed specially for this Yard. (See also Image]).
