Waiting in early evening traffic as the lights change to allow us to proceed through the roundabout at the junction with the A3004, St. Margarets Road. The forest of traffic lights up ahead really shine out in the gloom of a rainy evening.

Ailsa Road, St Margarets
This is an area of substantial houses in leafy streets, a short walk from the Thames and St Margarets station. The name derives from the Marquess of Ailsa, a title once held by the owner of St Margarets House.

Globe Central, Chertsey Road
A suite of art deco former offices now converted to apartments. I can't find much about it on the web apart from a few other pictures and a load of house prices. Picture taken from a footbridge over Chertsey Road which gives a good viewpoint but throws a big shadow at this time of day.
