Twickenham railway station (site)
Twickenham's first railway station was opened in 1848 by the London & Windsor Railway (needs confirmation) and closed in 1954 when the new station was built immediately behind the photographer. View west from London Road bridge.

Twickenham railway station
Operated by South West Trains. The original station was opened by the London and Windsor Railway on 22 August 1848. In March 1954 the present station came into use with three through tracks inconveniently having the two up platforms facing each other.

Heatham House, Twickenham
Despite being under threat of closure the youth centre has survived and now seems safe. I've been to a few concerts there put on by the members and are a very high standard.
