Lime trees by Ham Common, April 2014
The winter of 2013-14 was mild and wet, meaning that the spring which followed got off to an early start. This photo was taken on April 26th, but the lime trees were noticeably more advanced than they were on May 3rd two years earlier: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2928004 The two little figures in cricket whites are a further reminder of the changing season.
